CARL H. GREBIEN
Funeral services are pending at Oppold Funeral home for Carl H. Grebien, 76, of 810 Fairview Ave., who died Monday at 7:30 a.m. at Schoitz Memorial hospital of carcinoma.

Mr. Grebien was born July 27, 1885, the son of William H. and Anna Wise Grebien in Bremer county. He married Anna Harig in 1908. They farmed in Bremer county for a number of years and later moved to Waterloo where he worked for John Deere for 25 years, retiring in 1952. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church.

Mr. Grebien is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Butcher, Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. Marjorie Gordon, Lincoln, Neb.; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother, William Grebien, Tripoli; and two sisters, Mrs. Pauline Koch, and Mrs. Bertha Peters, both of Tripoli. He was preceded in death by parents and his wife in 1930.
