ERNEST HAASE

Funeral services for Ernest Haase, 88, of Tripoli, who died Saturday, Mar. 21, at Sumner Community Memorial Hospital, were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Mar. 24, at Grace Lutheran Church in Tripoli. Burial was in Faith United Church of Christ Cemetery at Tripoli.

Survivors include two sons, Orville of Tripoli and Arnold of Plainfield; two stepsons, Arlan Luhring of rural Waverly and Warren Mummelthie of Evansdale; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Howard Tegtmeier of rural Tripoli and Mrs. Art Petersen of rural Waverly; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Haase was a retired carpenter and became a resident of Hillcrest Home in Sumner Dec. 10, 1980.
