“Death of Former Sumner Girl

“Mrs. Sarah Hammetter Artzberger was born October 21, 1872, at Sumner, Iowa. March 2, 1899, she was married to Charles W. Artzberger. This union was blessed with two daughters, Esther and Viola.

“She died December 6, 1918, at the age of 46 years, one month and 15 days, just six days after the death of her brother, Walter Hammetter.

“She leaves a sorrowing husband, two daughters, a father, four brothers and one sister to mourn ner unexpected departure. Her mother, two brothers and two sisters have preceded her to the Great Beyond.

“May God our Heavenly Father grant them a happy reunion.”
