A. B. WILSON, born in Niagara County, New York, July 27, 1830, is a son of Calvin and Hannah (SHERWOOD) WILSON. He was reared on a farm, and remained in his native county until July, 1864, when he came to Lafayette Township, and settled on section 26, where he remained until 1872, when he bought his present farm on eight acres, on section 13, where he has since resided. Mr. Wilson held the office of school director for eight years. His father died in New York State, in September, 1877. His mother is still living. He was married in 1854, to Miss Angeline TAYLOR, a native of New York. They have four children living - Carrie, Nettie, Whitten Taylor and Maud.
