Howard W. Wisecup 89 of Ogden Iowa died Monday, Feb 20, 2006 at the Evangilical Free church home in Boone. Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M. Thurs Feb 23, 2006 at the community United methodist Church in Ogden. Rev Jerry Evelsizer will officiate. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens cem in Boone. Military Gravesite Rites will be performed by the Boone Veterans Council. Howard Wilford Wisecup was born Feb 9, 1917 in rural Boone County Iowa. The son of Lester and Flossie (Bundy) Wisecup. He served his country during WWII and was stationed in Italy and Japan. He was united in Marriage to Dorothy M. Zenor on Feb 15, 1946 in Boone Iowa. They have resided in the Ogden area for the past 57 years. Howard farmed and later worked for Boone County driving a maintainer until retiring in 1982. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Ogden, two daughters Joyce and her husband Ray Stumbo Jr. Of Boone and Janice Munson of Ogden. 5 grandchildren-Lynn Clark and her husband Mike, Joel Munson and his wife Doreen, Dawn Schmidt and her husband Rus, Reesha Munson and Jamin Munson. 11 great grandchildren,a sister Maxine Nystrom of Hanford California and many neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents,three sisters. Winnifred Wisecup,Mary Mccoy,and Darlene Murken. Three brothers, Torence,Kenneth and Junior Wisecup. And a great grandson Brandon Guy Schmidt.
