Life Sketch:
Lloyd Blomgren was born August 24, 1899 in Altona, Ill. to Karl W. and Anna Fredrika (Peterson) Blomgren. On Dec. 29, 1920, he married Mabel Marie Hull in Boone. He farmed southeast of Boone until his reitrement. He was a member of the Diciples of Christ Church in Luther,(IA). Survivors include his wife, Mabel of Boone; two sons, Bob of Boone, and Don of Ames; two daughters, Lorraine Van Dolah of Wichita, Kansas and Marian Bauman of Madrid; one sister, Clara Hull of Madrid; one brother, Forrest Blomgren of Boone; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a great-grandson, two brothers and one sister.
Memorials may be sent to the Evangelical Free Church Home in Boone.
