MRS J. SELLERS FUNERAL RITES

Funeral services for Mrs. James Sellers were held Saturday, June 16, at the Marion St. Methodist Church with Rev. Garold B. Noland officiating, assisted by Rev. T. J. Pettit.
Mrs. John Shelley sang "Beyond the Sunset" and Rev. Pettit sang "Have Thine Own Way" with accompaniment by Mrs. George Erickson.
Flowers were in charge of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Sinclair, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Rose, Mrs. Walter Kiddie, and Mrs. Albert Gill.
Pallbearers were six nephews: Robert Sellers, Marlin Sellers, Mantford Price, John Price, Darrell Young, and John Sellers.
Interment was at Linwood Park Cemetery.

LIFE SKETCH
Margaret Edna Young, daughter of Albert E. and Jeanette Young was born May 17, 1884 near Yankton, S.D. and died at the Boone Co. Hospital at Boone, Ia. Wednesday, June 13, 1951, at the age of 67 years and 26 days.
She was one of seven children. When a small child she moved to Boone County with her parents and had lived in the community up to the time of her death.
She attended rural schools in the county and Boone High School and later taught school for two years.
She was united in marriage with James Sellers Feb. 18, 1905. Ten children were born to the union, five sons and five daughters.
She was a member of the Women's Relief Corp No. 12, the Art and Embroidery Club, the Wscs, and a member of the Marion St. Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two grandchildren.
Survivors include the widower; five daughters, Mrs. Harry Bricker of Boone, Mrs. Ronald Steffy of Maywood, Ill, Mrs. Lawrence Kelsey of Davenport, Ia, Mrs Randall Petersen of Boone, and Mrs. Clifford Sparks of Los Angeles, Ca; five sons, Howard of Janesville, Wisc, James of Boone, Walter of Stratford, Dean of the Marine Corp, and Dan of the US Navy; three sisters, Mrs. Robert Price and Mrs. Alexander Sellers, both of Boone, and Mrs. Earl Wolfe of Fort Wayne, Ind; a brother, Mantford Young of Boone; and 13 grandchildren.
