"Albert B Young, eldest son of Hubbard and Emily Young was born near Montreal, Canada, 8-10-1851, and passed away Sunday, May 19, 1946, at the age of 94. He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert Price, where he made his home for the past 20 years.

On November 10, 1878, he was united in marriage to Jeanette Williams and to this union seven children were born. He was preceded in death by his wife, who died in 1903, and by his eldest son, Allie, who died May 15, 1946. At an early age, he came from Canada to Wisconsin in a covered wagon with his father and mother. When a young man, he moved to Iowa where he spent the remainder of his life.

Being a man of many activities, he will be missed by his many friends in West Boone, where he was a familiar figure. Mr. Young was the last surviving member of a family of ten.

Surviving him are two sons, Walter J Young of Des Moines, and Mantford A Young of Boone, four daughters, Mrs Robert Price, Mrs James Sellers, Mrs Alex Sellers, and Mrs Earl Wolfe of Milwaukee, Wis., besides 32 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews."
