MRS CHARLES SEAVERT RITES HELD AUG. 18TH

Late Boone Woman Was Native of Germany, Coming to Illinois with Parents as a Child

Funeral service for the late Mrs. Charles Seavert were held Monday afternoon, August 18, at 2:15 from the home at 1103 Meridian street and at 2:30 from the Central Church of Christ with the Rev. G. H. Sutton in charge.

Mrs. Frank Bostwick and Mrs. Fred Sandell sange the hymns, "The Lord Is My Shepherd" and "Face to Face." they were accompanied by Mrs. Sutton.

Pallbearers were T. L. Jones, James Watson, Harold Smith, Tom Berry, Grover Phipps, B. C. Briley. In charge of flowers were Mesdames Ralph Patterson, Cleo Adams, J. E. Reed, Lewis Weber, S. E. Stephenson and Jennie Martin.

Interment was in Linwood Park cemetery, east.

Native of Germany
Caroline Marie Michels, daugher of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Michels, was born in Mecklenberg, Germany, November 21, 1864. In her early childhood she came with the family to america and located in Illinois.

On November 19, 1881, she was united in marriage to Charles Seavert and into this union seven children were born.

Besides her husband, she is survived by Mrs. Elizabeth Morse, Fred and Oscar of Galva, Iowa,; Edward of Cleveland, Ohio; Walter of Burlington, Kan.; Glenn of Boone; six grandchildren, one great grandchild and three sisters; one daughter, Minnie Rafferty, preceded her in death.

Faithful Member
She was a faithful member of the Central Church of Christ.

On July 31, she suffered a stroke and succumbed August 15, at her home at the age of 76 years, 8 months and 25 days.

She was a kind and loving mother, always helpful and cheerful to all and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
