SERVICES FOR SMALL CHILD

Funeral For LaVerne Francis Brandt Held Friday From Home and St. Paul's Lutheran Church North of This City

The funeral of LaVerne Francis Brandt, small son of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Brandt (Charles Heinrich Brandt and Henriette Metscher Brandt), was held on Friday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock from the home northeast of Boone and at 1:30 from St. Paul's Lutheran Church near Mackey. The Rev. Mr. Kolb was in charge. The pallbearers were all relatives: Elda Heim, Theodore Metscher, Harold Wirtz and Andrew Murken. Many friends attended the services and there were many beautiful floral offerings.

Among those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mrs. Herman Miller and children, Leroy and Lucille; Mrs. William Heim and son, Elda and Theodore Metscher all of Covington, Oklahoma.

LaVerne passed away at the Eleanor Moore Hospital about 1:00 o'clock Wednesday morning.

LaVerne Francis was born March 24, 1918, and passed away March 26, 1919, being one year and two days old at the time of his death. He had been ill for some time with gascrtra-enteritis.

He leaves to mourn his death, besides his parents, one sister, Darlene, aged 5; two brothers, Cecil, aged 7 and Earl, aged 3; his grandfather John, of Oklahoma, as well as many other relatives and friends.
