Marjorie Larson, 61, 1124 Johnson Lane, died Saturday of a heart attack at her home. Services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 10:30 a.m., at Stark-Welin Chapel, Boone, with burial in Linwood Park Cemetery.

Marjorie Campbell was born in Platte, S.D., to Glenn and Maude (Doran) Campbell. She attended Stephens College, Columbia, Mo., and graduated from the University of Iowa. She taught elementary school in Iowa City and moved to Ames from Des Moines in 1958. On Nov. 22, 1951, she married Walter W. Larson in Jefferson.

She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Mortar Board; Scottish Highlanders; the Presbyterian Church; PEO Sisterhood, chapter KC; and Kappa Alpha Theta.

She is survived by one son, David C. Larson of Ames; one daughter, Deborah J. Larson-Allen of Des Moines; and three grandchildren.

Visitation wil be today from 2 to 9 p.m., with the family present from 2 to 3 p.m., and on Wednesday, Nove. 28, from 8 a.m., until the time of service at Stark-Welin Chapel, Boone.

Memorial contributions may be given to the PEO Sisterhood Education Fund.
