Steven E. Doxsee, 57, formerly of Boone and more recently of Altus, OK, passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 18.
Steve was born on June 24, 1951 in East Moline, IL. Steve went to school In Kewanee, IL where he played football, wrestled and excelled in painting and sculpture.
Steve loved fishing and boating, always was generous with his time and had many friends.
He is survived by his parents, Fred and Marilyn of Boone, his children Eric Doxsee, of Des Moines and Aimee Hanna, of Hawaii, and his brothers Wayne of Bernville, PA, Fred and sister Cheryl Sanchez of Boone.
He will be remembered and missed by many.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 28 at 9:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, located at Seventh and Arden Streets, in Boone, IA. Friends and family are invited to attend.
