Alton Phillip Bittermann, 88, of Mitchell, S.D., stepfather of Betty Ann and Randy Schmitz, died Wednesday February 25, 2009 at Firesteel Healthcare Center. Memorial services will be 1:00 PM Saturday February 28, 2009 at Will Funeral Chapel with burial at Graceland Cemetery. The family will be present from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday at the Will Funeral Chapel.
He is survived by eight step children and spouses; 25 step grandchildren; 36 step great grandchildren; several step great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Boone News Republican
