Roland F. Crouse, 82, of Pittsford, New York passed away September 19, 2008.
He was predeceased by parents Harry Crouse Sr. and Rosie Crouse, his brothers Harry Crouse and Walter Crouse.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce Crouse and two sons, Alan Crouse (Noreen) and Randy Crouse (Debbie), three grandchildren, Heidi, Jeremy and Brant Crouse. Two sisters, Helen (Ray) Duffee and Arlene Kuhl and two sister-in-laws, Marge Crouse and Beverly (James) Symonds. There are several nieces and nephews.
Roland was raised in the Boone, Iowa area where he lived until entering the Navy during World War II. He attended Jordan Consolidated Schools assisting his father on the farm while attending school. Following his Navy service, he moved to New York. He ran a brick laying business for a number of years and later was employed by Eastman Kodac in building construction maintenance.
Services were held in New York Saturday, September 27 at Faith Lutheran Church in Rochester, New York. Boone News Republican
