Jessie E. Johnson was born on December 11, 1950 in Houston, Texas to Yancy & Pearl Johnson. He entered the presence of the Lord on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 after a long fought battle with cancer. Jess had obtained the age of 57 years and 11 months.
Jess was a dedicated husband and father. While in the Air Force he met Pamela Beattie, they fell in love and where married on March 20, 1971 in the San Francisco, California area. He and Pam raised three children, Jennifer, Robert and Michael. He enjoyed the time he was able to spend with his family, helping with projects or just talking. His grandchildren were the highlight of his life. He held a special place of each of them in his heart, and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his ninth grandchild who will be his namesake.
Funeral services were held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Living Water Church, 1623 S. 15th Street, Plattsmouth, NE. Visitation was held Thursday at Living Water Church.
