Jacob was born 12-1-1866 Skaare, Rogaland, Norway; parents: Einar Olsen (1829-1907) and Dorthe Jacobsdtr (1842-82); immigrated 1891-92; married Olava Stange approx. 1900-1903 Boone County. Jacob was the nephew of Rasmus Storesund of Ogden in Boone County. Rasmus was the brother of Jacob's mother. Jacob's sister in Cleveland was Emily Serina Hauge (1877-1964) who married Frank Anderson and apparently never lived in Boone County, unless it was during the years 1895-1899.
