MRS. MUDGE, 88 DIED MONDAY
Marie Alfreda Mudge, 88, 408 Webster street, died Monday, April 10, at the Boone County Hospital. She was born March 3, 1884 at Moingona, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Roadstrom. On Dec. 29, 1909, she was married to James Mudge at Boone. She served as pianist for many years at the Moingona Church and Sunday school. She was a member of the Moingona Homecoming Committee, Women's Relief Corps No. 12, and the Boone County 50- Year Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James in 1964, one sister and one brother. Survivors include one son, Emery Mudge and a daughter, Mrs. Edith Hefte, both of Boone; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 13, at 1:30 p.m., at the Stark Welin Chapel with Rev. R. G. Foster officiating. Burial will be in the Moingona Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home until 9 p.m. on Wednesday and on Thursday from 8 a.m. until time of the service.
