James LaVerne Love, age 62, of Pilot Mount, and a resident of the Stratford Nursing and Rehab Center of Stratford since April 2008, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Stratford Nursing and Rehab Center in Stratford.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 8, 2008 at the Walter ~ Schroeder Funeral Home at Fifth & Story Streets in Boone from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the family present at this time. Following the visitation, his body will be cremated. There will be a Memorial Service with Full Military Honors and U.S. Flag presentation on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 1:00 p.m., at the Veterans Monument and Flag Pole in Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone. James will then be sent to Arlington National Cemetery located in Arlington, Virginia for burial. Memorials may be given to the family, to be used at their discretion.
