MRS. MARY S. WHEELER

Funeral services for Mary S. Wheeler were held at the Sundberg Funeral home in Madrid on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 1964 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Perry in charge. Three hymns, "Leadly Kindly Light", "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Just a Closer Walk With Jesus" were sung during the services.
Mary V. Sturdivant, daughter of John and Louisa C. Sturdivant, a pioneer family, was born in Boone County, Iowa, March 24, 1878.
Mrs. Wheeler was preceded in death by her husband and 1 daughter Erma.
Survivors include 5 children, John Wheeler of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Louisa Pickell of Madrid, Leo Wheeler of Polk City, Milo Wheeler of Tulsa, Okla. and Arno Wheeler of Des Moines; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and friends and neighbors.
