Wanda Pepper, 73, 637 Haws Drive, Ogden, and formerly of 106 18th St., Boone, died Sunday at Boone County Hospital of heart failure. She was born March 2, 1929, in Madrid, the daughter of Cleo and Phyllis (Curry) Carroll. She married Robert Pepper April 16, 1949, in Omaha, NE.

She was a homemaker. Her hobbies included traveling and family activities. In earlier years she enjoyed playing bingo and cards. She had lived in Ogden since last June.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jay; and three brothers, Ted, Tom and Ed Carroll. Survivors include her husband; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Mike of Boone, Pat and Patsy of Atlanta, GA and Tim of Pensacola; two daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and David Majors of Tampa, FL and Jean and Trent Mallicoat of Ogden; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Roy Carroll of Marshalltown and Earl and Alice Carroll of Edinburg, TX; one sister and brother-in-law, Elsie and Lloyd O'Hara of Norfolk, NE; 10 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Boone with the Rev. Dr. Norman Haupt officiating.

Burial will be in Boone Memorial Gardens in Boone.

Friends may call at Schroeder Memorial Chapel, Sixth and Marshall streets, Boone, Tuesday from noon to 9 p.m. the family will be present to receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation continues Wednesday at the church from 9 a.m. until time of services.

Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church or the American Heart Association.

Schroeder Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
