Warren Risberg, 46, 964 Larch Lane, Logansport, died Tuesday in Wheatland of injuries suffered in a truck accident.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Schroeder Memorial Chapel, Sixth and Marshall streets, Boone, with the Rev. Dr. Herbert Foxworthy officiating. Graveside services with military honors by the Boone Veterans Council will be at the Veterans Memorial in Linwood Park Cemetery in Boone. The body will be cremated following the services.

Friends may call at Schroeder Memorial Chapel today from 8 a.m. until time of services.

He was born May 22, 1958, in Denver, Colo., the son of Kenneth and Martha Joan (Owens) Risberg. He married Tracy Anderson April 21, 1979, at Fort Lupton, Colo.

He was a career serviceman, serving with the United States Army. He was a veteran of the Gulf War and Somalia. As a staff sergeant, he drove heavy equipment trucks and was a truck driver instructor. Following his retirement, he and his family moved to Boone where he and his wife owned and operated the Trading Post Pawn Shop. He also was a truck driver for Fareway Stores, Inc. He was a member of V.F.W. Post No. 817. His favorite hobby was raising Black Angus cows from birth. He also enjoyed working on his acreage and family activities.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Warren, Jr., and Matthew, both of Boone; one stepson, John Dake and his wife, Holly, of Oshkosh, Wis.; his father of Lodgepole, Neb.; a twin brother, Wayne, of Iliff, Colo.; four sisters, Diane Heiman of Denver, Colo., Kathleen Wage of Denver, Colo., Verlene Waiss of Prairie du Chien, Wis., and Vanessa Veenendaal of Lodgepole, Neb.; three grandchildren, Katlyn, Caleb and Piper; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Memorials may be given to the family to be used at their discretion.

Schroeder Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
