MRS. HARRIET TILLEY FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FEB. 16th:
High Requiem Mass St. John's Catholic Church at 9:30

Mrs. Harriet Tilley, age 74, pioneer resident of Ogden, passed away Sunday morning, February 13, 1944, at the home of her son, Chris Tilley, at 1628 Monona St., in Boone, following an illness of the past two months. Her death was caused by complications.

Funeral services for Mrs. Harriet Tilley were held Wednesday morning, Feb. 16, 1944, at 9:30 a.m. at St. John's Catholic church.

The Requiem High Mass was celebrated by Father Greteman, Acolytes were Lawrence Buckley and Jimmy Miner. St. John's choir sang the Mass. Pallbearers were: John Weber, Gus Nobens, P. R. Schmidt, Joe Weber, Albert Schierholz, and Tony Galloro. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery.

Harriet Langan Tilley, daughter of Archie and Mary Langan, was born at Coal Valley, Iowa, on September 29, 1870, and passed away at the home of her son, Chris Tilley, Sunday morning, Feb. 13, 1944, at the age of 74 years, 4 months, 15 days.

On Jan. 2, 1888, she was united in marriage to James T Tilley, and to this union were born seven children, Mrs. Robert Wilson of Woodward, Mrs. James Buckley, Mrs. Ed Germer, both of Ogden, Chris Tilley of Boone, Archie and James Tilley, Jr., of Ogden, and Sylvester Tilley who died in infancy. Her husband preceded her in death.

Mrs. Tilley spent her entire lifetime in Boone County.

She leaves to mourn the above six children, 33 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. William Waddell of Boone.

Flowers were cared for by Mrs. Tony Galloro, Mrs. John LaMar and Mrs. Crowe.
