Edna Mae, Daughter of David and Caroline Fyock, was born at Ridgeport, Iowa on September 20, 1886 and died at the Boone County Hospital on August 9, 1965 at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 20 days.

She was united in marriage to John Nathan Tuttle of Boone, Iowa, August 15, 1905 and to this union 4 Sons and 3 Daughters were born.

Mrs. Tuttle was a lifelong resident of Boone County. She lived in Fraser and Ridgeport Iowa until her husbands death in 1954, at which time she moved to Boone, Iowa.

Mrs. Tuttle was a member of the Primitive Methodist Church at Fraser, until several years ago when she became affiliated with the Salvation Army. She was a member of the Salvation Army Home League. Her hobbies were flowers, gardening and missionary fellowship. As a girl she was an expert horsewoman and rode in many early parades.

After the family had grown, Mr. and Mrs. Tuttle enjoyed a number of years traveling extensivly to all parts of the country sightseeing and visiting their children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Tuttle was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a twin brother and 2 other brothers; and 2 sisters.

Survivors include 4 sons, James Mason Tuttle of Farmington, New Mexico, Edward Tuttle of Sacramento, California, Harlan Tuttle of Ottumwa, Iowa and Alvin Tuttle of Levittown, PA ; 3 daughters, Mrs. W.L. (Margaret) Stewart of Alameda, California, Mrs. A.J. (Minnie) Harless of Grennup, Kentucky, and Mrs. David M. (Mary) Deering of Boone, Iowa; 21 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren and several neices and nephews.
