Boone Newspaper clipping 1954:

"David CLARK, 84, retired car inspector for the Chicago North Western railroad in Boone died at the Boone County Hospital Monday afternoon following an illness of about a year.

Mr. Clark had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Reese HALL, 221 Benton St, (in Boone, IA.) since the death of his wife(Estelle CLARK)about nine years ago.

Other survivors than Mrs. HALL are three daughters, Mrs. Harley (Mildred) JORGENSON, Tracy, Minn., Mrs. Harley (Hazel) TAYLOR, Des Moines, and Mrs. Richard (Florence) GRACE, Kalamazoo, Mich., five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Schroeder funeral home is in charge of the services. Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 2PM from the funeral home with the Rev. Merwin Coad, pastor of the Central Church of Christ, in charge. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery."
