Mrs. Rita Creger Dies at Age 56

Mrs. Rita Fern Creger, 56, of 6715 Hickman road, died of cancer at her home Saturday morning. She had been ill several years.

She was born in Boone and lived in the Des Moines area for 21 years. She was a member of Jehovah’s Witnesses, West unit.

Services will be at 11 a. m. Tuesday at McLaren’s Funeral Home. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, John; two sons, Donald and John, of Des Moines; five daughters, Miss Joan Creger, El Cajon, Cal., Mrs. Jean Fedler, Iowa City, Mrs. Marian Miller, Des Moines, Mrs. Marsha Gifford, Cumming, and Mrs. Betty Lou Still, Eugene, Ore.; her mother, Mrs. Eva Wilson, Boone; three brothers, Louis Wilson, in Oklahoma, Floyd Wilson, Boone, and Loran Wilson, Moody, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Corich, Boone, and 12 grandchildren.
