Mrs. Charles Knight Dies on Monday
Mrs. Charles H. Knight, 73 of 1205 Greene Street, died at 12:40 a.m. this Monday, January 28, 1957 at the Boone County hospital, following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her husband in June, 1956.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Catherine Houser of Torrance, Calif., Mrs Ray (Margaret) Smith of Encino, Calif., Mrs. Leo (Rose) Heun of Lawndale, Calif., and Mrs. Cleo (Dorothy) Bowman of Boone; a son, Captain Don Knight of Seattle, Wash.; four sisters, Mrs. Nell McDermott, and Mrs. Arthur Schell of Boone, Mrs. Agnes Tracy of Green Bay, Wis., and Mrs. Ray Eno of Fort Myers Beach, Fla.; two brothers, Martin and Cliff Cribbens of Boone; eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The deceased was a long time resident of Boone, and was very active in the Sacred Heart Altar Society and P.T.A.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 30, at 9 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. Richard Macke in charge. Burial will be at the Sacred Heart cemetary.
Rosary will be said Tuesday evening at 8:30 p.m. at the Schroeder Funeral Home. Freinds may begin calling at the Funeral Home this Monday evening.
