MRS. RAFFERTY DIES FROM SPANISH "FLU"

Mrs. C. P. Rafferty died last Friday noon in her home in Rockwell City. Death was primarily due to Spanish influenza and to other complications that set in during her two weeks of illness.

Her death was particularly sad, as she leaves a week old baby, another child one year old and her husband, who at the time of her death and burial was seriously ill with influenza.

Remains were taken to Boone Saturday for burial.

Mr. Rafferty is reported to be improving.
