Henry Kreutner

Henry L. Kreutner, 88, Story City, died Oct. 7, 1961 at the Story City Hospital. He was born Sept. 15, 1893 in Boone County, the son of Martin and Salome (Gerber) Kreutner. He married Bessie M. Ahrens, March 27, 1918.

Mr. Kreutner farmed west of Story City until his retirement in 1960.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Bess, a son, a grandson and eight brothers and sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Burdette Teig, Shoreview, Minn.; two sons, Harlan of Story City and LaVerne of Neosho, Mo.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Clara Ahrens, Perry.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., at St. Petri Lutheran Church, with Reverend Rolfe Johnstad officiating. Burial will be in the Story City Cemetery. Friends may call at the Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home, Story City, Friday.
