M.E. Bump Died Saturday
Milton Edward Bump, 65, passed away Saturday May 10 at the Boone County Hospital.
Mr. Bump, a barber by trade, came to Madrid in 1935 and has been a resident since that time. Surviving are his wife Cora; one son Eli C. Bump and two daughters Mrs. Velva Bostrom and Mrs. Mary Dehn and eight grandchildren, all of St. Paul, Minn; two brothers Vern of Chowchilla, Calif and Lorin of Port Byron, Ill; and a sister Mrs. Paul Christensen of Kansas City.
Funeral Services were held at the Sundberg Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 13, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Homer F. Perry of the Congregational Christian Church in charge. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.
