William "Red" 83, of Boone, died Friday, Jan 23, 2009, at the Boone County Hospital in Boone.
Mr. Malloy was born Nov. 8, 1925, in Oskaloosa, the son of Perry Malloy and Laura (Snook) Malloy-Harland.
Surviving are his wife, Betty; four sons, Joe and wife Ruth, John and wife Linda, Dan and wife Julie, and David and wife Beth; two stepchildren, Mike and wife Denise and Mickey and husband Mike; 21 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Earl Harland, Dwain Harland and Evert Harland; and two sisters, Carrie Sowash and Barbara Turner.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Lou (Eakins); his parents; three brothers; and two sisters.
