Rebecca Mathews, of Prairie du Sac, died peacefully at home on Monday, November 3, 2008. She was born in Boone, Iowa on June 18, 1950 to the late Robert and Eleanor Adams. She is survived by her husband (and best friend) Michael Mathews; her sister Rosemary Maechtle of Grand Junction, Colorado; her "adopted sister" Paula Morrow from Indiana; and her cousin Keith Dearborn from Iowa. Also among her surviving loved ones are her two dogs, Bucky and Buster. She will be remembered by everyone who knew her as a gentle, sweet and caring person. Boone News Republican
