Traci Clarke, age 47 of Boone, died Sunday, November 9, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center of Des Moines. A memorial graveside service for Traci will be held on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Colfax Cemetery of Colfax. Visitation for Traci will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Coburn Funeral Home of Colfax from 2:00 ? 8:00 p.m. with family present to greet friends from 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to the Traci Clarke Memorial Fund and online condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com.
The daughter of George Sears and Frances (Pieart) Bolton, Traci was born on May 13, 1961 in Des Moines. Tracy was a graduate of Colfax High School, Class of 1980. Traci was united in marriage with Michael Clarke. Traci was full of life and enjoyed spending time with others. She especially enjoyed the time she could spend with family and her dear neighbor. Traci also enjoyed her three cats and being outdoors.
Those left to honor her memory are her husband Mike Clarke of Boone, father George Sears of Boone, mother Frances Bolton and stepfather Gary Bolton of Colfax, sister Diane (David) Shepley of Colfax and their sons Michael and Zachery, brother Lucas Bolton of Grinnell, grandmother Charlotte Pieart, aunts; Mert Miller, Shirley (Bob) Ingersoll, Loretta (Merv) Ross, and Kathryn Harrington, and cousins; Larry, Teresa, Dana, Carla, Charles, Lori, Maryanne, and Kane. Traci was preceded in death by her son Wesley James Botts, grandfather John Wesley Pieart, grandmother Ann Fleener, grandfather Woodrow Sears and her maternal and paternal great grandparents.
