DIED:- At his residence in Harrison Twp., Boone County on Nov. 16th, Mr. Joseph Wheeler being 70 years and 7 months of age.
Mr. Wheeler was a native of Maine and came to Illinois to reside several years ago where some of his children now live. He moved to Iowa about ten years ago where he bought a farm in Boone county and lived there the remainder of his life. Mr. Wheeler was a strong and healthy man and when the stroke of Apoplexy came, seven days before his death, he was enjoying the best of health. He leaves a wife and a large family of children who are nearly all married. Mr. Wheeler was an upright christian man and died as he had lived--rejoicing in the power of Christ to save.
