Verna G. Palmquist, 71, 8940 N. 11th St., Phoenix, died June 21, 1976 at a Phoenix hospital. She was born September 1, 1904 in Cable, Ill. and moved to Phoenix in 1944 from Madrid. She was a retired practical nurse and a charter member of the Augustana Lutheran Church in Phoenix.
Mrs. Palmquist is survived by husband, Andrew; 2 sons, Carl and Jim both of Phoenix; 2 daughters, Ione Langille of Eau Claire, Wisc. and Doris Vawter of Phoenix; 12 grand children and 3 great grandchildren. Services were held 10:00 a.m. Thursday June 24 at Augustana Lutheran Church in Phoenix. Interment was at Green Acres cemetery in Scottsdale, Ariz.
