David Allen Page, son of John Allen and Bernice Marguerite (Carson) Page, was born January 11, 1950 in Osceola, Iowa. He passed from this life January 18, 2008 at his home in Osceola, Iowa at the age of 58 years.
David was a lifetime resident of Osceola. He had attended Ward Center School and worked with Bethpage which is now Mosaic in Osceola. He enjoyed books of all kinds and enjoyed reading travel magazines. He listened to classical and gospel music and enjoyed concerts at the Civic Center. He competed in the Special Olympics in bowling and track and field and was proud of his medals. Many days he could be found walking to Hardees or McDonalds to have a Diet Coke. Each year he looked forward to Camp Wesley Woods and Camp Sunnyside. He enjoyed trips to Branson, Missouri and his trips to Ottumwa to see special friends, Bill and Donna Greenley and going to their book store. He was a member of the Osceola United Methodist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory; brother, John Page and wife Karen; nephew Eric Page and niece Krystal Page all of Osceola; guardians, Bill and Donna Greenley of Ottumwa; uncles Harold Carson of Osceola and Don Carson of Weldon; aunt Edith Thornton of Winterset and best friend, Angie Nash of Boone, Iowa as well as other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at The Osceola United Methodist Church, Monday, January 21, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Hugh Stone officiating.
Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to services on Monday.
Interment will follow in the Ottawa Cemetery, Clarke County, Iowa.
Contributions may be made to the Mosaic in Osceola.
