Shirley Ann Law, 81, formerly of Boone, IA and currently of Perry, IA, passed away at the Dallas County Hospital in Perry, IA on Wednesday afternoon, January 23, 2008. She had been a resident at the Perry Health Care Center in Perry since November of 2004.
She was born on October 1, 1926 in Fort Dodge, IA, the daughter of Norris and Margaret (O'Connor) Danielson.
On October 30, 1945, she married Donald E. Law at Ft. Dodge, IA.
Shirley helped her husband with the farming operation and was a homemaker. The couple enjoyed camping.
Her parents, husband, Donald in July of 2002, a son-in-law Leonard Roby and 2 brothers preceded her in death.
Survivors include 2 daughters; Suzan (Jim) Davidson of Perry, IA, Peggy Roby of Parachute, CO; 1 son, Donald (Marcia) Law, Jr. of Gilbert, IA; 8 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday morning, January 26th at 10:30 a.m. at the Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone with Rev. Jerry Peltz officiating.
Interment will be in Boone Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Boone, IA.
Friends may call at the Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday morning from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.
The family will be present at the Stark-Welin Chapel in Boone on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to greet friends.
Memorials may be given to the American Lung Association.
