Evelyn A. Kruse 57, polk City formerly of Boone Died Aug 28, 2003 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Aug 6, 2003.
Funeral services were 11 a.m today at the First United Methodist Church with the rev Phil Webb officiating.
burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery In Minburn.
Mrs Kruse daughter of Keith and Minnie (Craven) Grady was born on Nov 9, 1945 at the Boone county Hospital.
She attended school in Melrose, Lovilia and Adel and graduated from Ogden High school in 1964.
For the past 17 years she was employed by Iowa State University, most recently in the football Office.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Boone. She was also a foster parent for the state of Iowa.
She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
Survivors include her companion. Bill Struthers of Polk City, two daughters and one son in law, Lisa and Scott Woosley of Melcher-Dallas and Melissa Cunningham of Galena, Kan;one son and daughter in law Brad and Kendall Freeman of Galena Kansas; five grandchildren,Jennifer Ryun of state Center, Sara, Lindsey and Levi Williams of Melcher-Dallas,Chelsea and M. Keith Freeman of Galena Kan; one great-grandchild Kristina Ryun of state Center, three sisters and two brothers in laws-Leone Sink of Auburn Washington,Anselma Herman of Donna Texas,Carolyn and her husband J. Clark Douglas of Madrid,One brother in law, Walter Anderson of Boone, DeWayne and Dorothy Mccoy of Newton, James and June Mccoy of Savannah Illinois,Robert Grady of Zearing, Jerry and Nancy Grady of Boone and several Nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Israel Family Hospice House for the American Cancer society.
The Schroeder-Walter Funeral Home at fifth and Story streets was in charge of the arrangements.
