Obituary

Sarah Vaughan, daughter of Patrick and Lena Vaughan, was born, October 18, 1874, and passed from this life at 5 p.m. June 13, 1942 at the age of 67 years, 7 months and 25 days.

She was united in marriage to Lewis Savits, December 8, 1896. To this union were born three children, Leo of Ogden, Mrs. Gene Hager of Rippey, and Paul of Ogden.

Sadie, as she was familiarly known, has always lived in this community with the exception of one year in Colorado.

She was baptized a Catholic, in infancy and reared her children in that faith showing them a good example at all times.

She always bore her suffering most patiently.

Before her death she received the last rites of her religion.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.

She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, three children and one brother, August Vaughan, other relatives and a host of friends.
