Services held for Mrs.
Amelia Rudolph
MondayFuneral services for the late Mrs. Amelia Rudolph were held at the Zion Lutheran church, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the pastor, the Rev. A.J. Boehm, conducting. Mrs. Rudolph was laid to rest in Glenwood cemetery.
Mrs. Rudolph passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Stevens at 6 o'clock Saturday, as a result of cancer, which has afflicted her for several years and confined her to bed for many weeks.
Amelia Ausderhelde Rudolph was born in Oldensburg, Germany, Dec. 12, 1863 and passed away January 2, 1926, at the age of 62 years. The deceased was married to her husband in 1888 in Germany and who passed away the following year. In 1896 Mrs. Rudolph with her daughter came to America, settling first in South Dakota, later moving to Strawberry Point, Iowa.
The deceased is survived by the only child, Mrs. Henry Stevens with whom she has made her home the past four years, two sisters in Germany, one sister in Portland, Ore., and two grand-children. The sincere sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved relatives in the passing of their love one.
