Donna June Miller, 54, Ogden, died Tuesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. She was born Aug. 31, 1946, in Boone, the daughter of Loren and Bertha (Elsberry) Miller.

She attended school in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School in 1964. Following high school, she attended secretarial classes as Des Moines Area Community College in Boone. She was employed as a nurses aid at Boone County Hospital and then worked as a ward clerk at a hospital in Omaha, Neb. She also worked at Bourns, Inc., in Ames for several years and in the Department of Right of Way for the Iowa Department of Transportation for more than 16 years. She also worked in the admissions department at Iowa State University for two years. She was a member of Community United Methodist Church in Ogden.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1986; and a daughter, Beth Huff in 1997. Survivors include one son, Steven Stark of Marshalltown; her mother of Ogden; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Jerry Pharaoh of Ogden, and Linda and John Ellis of Ogden; and two nieces and two nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday at Community United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bob Cook officiating. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery in Ogden.

Carson Funeral Home of Ogden was in charge of arrangements.
