HARRIET WALKER

Harriet Walker, 76, Stratford Care Center, formerly of 1217 Marshall Street, died Jan 7, 1982, at the Boone County Hospital. She was born Aug. 2, 1905 in Ogden, the daughter of Edward Germer and Lettie Tilley Germer. She married Robert Verne Walker July 24, 1922.

Mrs. Walker was a member of the Sacred Heart Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister and a grandson.

Survivors include two sons, Donald of Ely, Minn. and Ted of Boone; five daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Fullerton of Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Doris Lee of Boone; Mrs. Donna Arringdale of Garwin; Mrs Bertha Arnold of Clemons; and Mrs. Judy Shirk of Lewisville, Texas; a brother, Donald Germer of Boone; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Kouhns of Ogden; 38 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Sacred Heart Church, with the Rev. LeRoy Seuntjens officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

There will be a wake service at 8 p.m. Friday at the Schroeder Funeral Home.

Friends may call at Schroeders until 9 p.m. on Friday, and on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
