Clara M. Paulson, 92, Ogden, died Saturday at the Evangelical Free Church Home in Boone of heart failure. She was born Feb. 8,1909, on the family farm northeast of Boone, the daughter of Fred and Maggie (Hagge) Grabau. She married Leslie Paulson Feb. 11, 1931.

She attended country schools and Trinity Lutheran School in Boone. She and her husband lived and farmed northwest of Ogden until 1969 when they moved to Ogden. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Ogden, where she belonged to the Mission Society as well as the ladies aid. Her hobbies included playing cards and she was a member of several card clubs, including the Progressive Club. She also enjoyed making quilts for members of her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1976; two brothers, Bill and Albert Grabau; and three sisters, Louise Crouse, Luella Schmidt and Elsie Park. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and James Stockwell of McKinney, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Donald and Marilyn Paulson of Ogden; four grandchildren, Kim Downs and her husband, Steve, of St. Charles, Jeff Paulson and his wife, Angie, of Ogden; Scott Stockwell and his wife, Paula, of Allen, Texas, and Patricia Gorman and her husband, Paul, of McKinney, Texas; eight great-grandchildren, Kyla Crouthamel, Kelly Crouthamel, Nicholas Paulson, Kyle Paulson, Joshua Stockwell, Lily Gorman, Thomas Stockwell and Abby Gorman; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Ogden with the Rev. Stephen Ude officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Ogden.

Friends may call at Carson Funeral Home in Ogden Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Carson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
