Marvin Mitchell Crouch, 92, Ogden, died Monday at Boone County Hospital. He was born Nov. 19, 1908, in Boone County, the son of Deskin W. and Minnie May (Campbell) Crouch. He married Mabel Irene Hinman June, 4, 1929, in Pilot Mound.

He attended Pilot Mound schools and graduated with the Pilot Mound High School class of 1928. Following his education, he helped his father on the farm. In 1930, he started farming in the Pilot Mound area. He and his wife moved to the family farm in 1936 and later moved closer to Pilot Mound to farm. In 1942, the couple returned to the family farm. He retired in 1974, but continued to live on the family farm until his death. He was involved in many organizations in the Pilot Mound area.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Robert Crouch and Roy Crouch. Survivors include his wife; three sons and daughters-in-law, James and Merry Crouch of Eugene, Ore., Gene and Irene Crouch of Ogden, and Larry and Pam Crouch of Glendale, Ariz.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Ferne Crouch of Pilot Mound, and Ione Gray of Ogden; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Carson Funeral Home, Ogden, with the Rev. Steven Ude officiating. The body will be cremated following the service.

Friends may call at Carson Funeral Home Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Memorials may be given to the Don Williams Park and Recreational Area.

Carson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
