Louise Gibson, 83, a resident of the Evangelical Free Church Home, Boone, and formerly of 1104 Eighth St., Boone, died Saturday at the home of respiratory complications. She had been a resident of the home since February of 1997. She was born Oct. 22, 1918, in Sutherland, the daughter of Frederick and Lucy (McCormack) Raper. She married George A. Gibson Nov. 10, 1046, in Cherokee.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Meriden Evangelical Free Church in Meriden with the Rev. Larry Ostercamp officiating. Burial will be in Meriden Cemetery in Meriden.
Friends may call at Stark-Welin Chapel Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. The family will be present to receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Visitation continues Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee and Wednesday at the church from 8:30 a.m. until time of services.
Stark-Welin Funeral Directors of Boone is in charge of arrangements.
