DEATH OF DAVID S. KNIGHT... suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. C. ALEXANDER in this city Thursday. Native of New Hampshire, born in 1814. In early life removed to Vermont and thence to Ohio where he was married to Bathsheba FLOWER in 1839. Came to Fairfield in 1841, where the wife died in 1853.

In 1854 he married Elizabeth WEBSTER. Home in this city until about 20 years ago. Father of eight children, only two of whom are now living. Made his home with a daughter at Madrid for several years, and came here about two months ago on a visit. Methodist Church; Rev. John Burgess conducted the funeral.
