GODFREY - STOVER.
Last evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Godfrey, just north of Madrid was solemnized the marriage vows of their daughter, Miss Lillian Mae and Mr. Joseph Roy Stover. The ceremony was performed by th Rev. E. O. Douglas of the M. E. church in the presence of about sixty guests.
Promptly at 6 o'clock to the strains of a march played by Mrs. A. E. Sutherland, the young people took their places unattended and were made man and wife. Congratulations were showered upon them immediately afterwards and supper served to which the guests did ample justice. The bride and groom grew to womanhood and manhood in this community and are two young people admired and honored by all who know them. Their popularity is attested by the large number of friends both possess. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Stover of south of Madrid. The Register-News joins the friends in sincere congratulations and best wishes for a happy wedded life. - Madrid Register-News.---from the Madrid Register-News. Wedding date was January 20, 1909
