D R Hindman, of Boone, was born in Otsego county, New York, Mary 10, 1834, of Scottish parentage. He was educated in the state of New York, served in the war of the Rebellion as a member of the Nineteenth Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, and has served for ten and a half years as judge of the eleventh judicial district of Iowa and is now actively engaged in the practice of law in Boone, Iowa.
