W S Wane, farmer and stock-raiser, Sec 29, P O Boone, was born in Boone county, Iowa, February 19, 1854, at that the age of five years he commenced school and continued the same till he was eighteen years of age, when he commenced farming, which occupation he still follows, he is the owner of 80 acres of as fine land as there is in the township, he was married to Miss Alice Latham, in Boonsboro, December 31, 1874, have one child: Charles B (born October 27, 1875)
