J F Yegge, brick manufacturer, Sec 24, P O Boone, was born in Switzerland, November 19, 1832, and lived there until nineteen years of age, and then emigrated to the United States in 1852 and settled in Ohio, where he remained one year, and then removed to Michigan, where he resided four years and then removed to Clinton county, Iowa and after working at his business in various places in Kansas and Missouri he came to Boone county and established his present business, and since his residence here has manufactured an average of 1,000,000 brick per year, he has a large trade in this and adjoining counties and the demand far exceeds the supply, he was married in 1861 to Miss Adaline Garwick, a native of Baden, Germany, their family consists of ten children: Alvis, Anthony, Frank, Jacob, John, Louisia, Albert, Ida, Freddie and Addie, the last two twins
