James Grace, dealer in meats and provisions, Boone, is the son of James and Julia Grace, and was born in Ireland on October 10, 1844, he accompanied his parents to the United States in 1855, and settled in La Salle county, Illinois, and came to this county in 1865, he married Miss Maggie Hamilton in 1872, she was born in Iowa, they have three daughters: Julia, Kate and Maggie; lost one son John
